JUNIOR WHISTLERS 2023
Coastlands Netball Kapiti are inviting any person who is keen to become Netball Kapiti Junior Whistler. The Junior Whistler umpire group offers pathways to progress further in netball umpiring for our Centre.
The Junior Whistler Umpire Group start their journey umpiring Year 4 games. These games are played on a Monday at between 4.00pm and 6.00pm.
Season dates are Monday 1st May to Monday 24th July (no play on 5th June King's Birthday, and 3rd & 10th July Holidays).
The Junior Whistler's will be provided with a comprehensive training schedule (Mar, April, May), an umpire shirt (at start of season) and continued support from our umpire team.
The dates for the trainings are:
Sunday 21st May 10.00am - 11.30am
Registrations have closed, but if you are interested in becoming a Junior Whistler email Carmell on npc@netballkapiti.org.nz.
* College age players are also welcome to join if they are new to umpiring.
* Some Junior Whistler's will be umpiring Saturday morning's 8.30am round (Year 5)
