Indig-Nation   DUTY TEAM

All players must:

·         remove all visible jewellery,

·         wear suitable sports footwear,

·         have short finger nails.

Players who do not conform to these rules will be removed from the court.

All games are of 4 x 10 minute quarters, 2 minute breaks between quarters.

It is compulsory for every team to supply an umpire for the full duration of their own game.  This will be closely monitored.  If a team has only 7 players they must play with 6 players as one person must umpire.

Any decision made by Control Room personnel is final.

Conditions and Rules - Twilight Netball

·         Uniforms are to consist of top and skirt or shorts or tracksuit pants. All players must wear a bib.  If tracksuit pants are worn they must be suitable for netball play, no “street wear” long pants or jeans.

·         All players must:

·         remove all visible jewellery,

·         wear suitable sports footwear,

·         have short finger nails.

Players who do not conform to these rules will be removed from the court.

·         All games will be played wet or fine – there will be no twilight league cancellations. However, both teams may agree to cancel but this must be done by mutual agreement AND communicated to Coastlands Netball Kapiti, by 5pm on the evening of the game.

·         In the event of a team needing to default contact must be made with your opponents by 3pm on the day of play.  You must make actual contact – answer phone or email is not sufficient.  You also need to advise Coastlands Netball Kapiti.  A fine of $20 per team (to be paid before the next game) will be charged for any team defaulting which does not comply with the above.

·         No player may play for more than one team.

·         Only College students and adults may play twilight, no Primary School players permitted.

·         Each team must supply their own umpire, ball and whistle - every week.  If a team does not have an umpire they must play with 6 players, their 7th player must umpire, it is not the responsibility of Netball Kapiti or the opposition to provide umpires.

·         Each team may be expected to do Control Room duty at least once during the season (dependant on number of teams).

·         No more than 3 males may take the court at the same time, and must play in different thirds of the court.  That is: males must be in different thirds at each start of play.

·         All other playing rules as per winter league apply.

·         A complete draw will be sent to team contacts.  The draw will be displayed on our website www.netballkapiti.org.nz.
